Shifting towards a more honest use of the material, Pommet and Kendall explore the potential of veneer on its own. They have developed a forming technique that relies on the properties intrinsic to each species and grain pattern. Both volume and strength are achieved by laminating minimal amounts of veneer together into structural proles. As a result, these lightweight modules come together fulfilling infinite possibilities of designs and applications.
