pommet kendall, 2016Charlotte Pommet (FRANCE) and Elliot Kendall (CANADA) met while studying at Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. A mutual appreciation for one-another’s style and approach naturally drew them together as they realised their individual backgrounds and skills gave shape to richer outcomes. They graduated together in 2016 and curious and excited to explore new horizons decided to set up their studio in Vancouver where they are currently living and working.
Their projects explore a wide range of mediums as they put an equal emphasis on conceptualising as they do on materialising. By completing their own hands-on research they create new definitions and boundaries within materials and processing techniques, striving for unexpected outcomes. With this philosophy always at mind Charlotte and Elliot have realised products, installations and material research that aim to trigger further thoughtful discussion in the public.
